THE FIGHT was born out of a father’s love for his children.
Eric Lounsbery began compiling what would become The Minimal List for one reason: he wanted to know that if something ever happened to him and he was no longer around to train his children in Scripture, they would have the most critical truths readily available — organized, accessible, and powerful enough to ensure that no matter what the enemy threw at them — they would, to the glory of God, have the weapons to come out the victor!
In the meantime, while he was still with them, he would do everything in his power to get this material into their hearts and minds. After all, he believed this was one of the best ways possible to show his love — not only to his children, but to the Lord.
Three times in a row, Jesus asked Peter: “Do you love Me?” Each time Peter said yes. And each time Jesus responded: “Feed My sheep.”
THE FIGHT is Eric’s heart’s effort to feed not only the sheep that are his children — but all those who are His children.

To choose not to fight is to choose to lose. You can hope and even pray, but if you do not engage in this fight, your defeat is inevitable. There is no neutral ground in spiritual warfare.
You Must Fight God's Way
2 Corinthians 10:3–5
You do not look to men for your strategy. If you do not fight this spiritual battle in the manner revealed by God in His Word, you are certain to lose. Ignorance of His Word is a guarantee of defeat.
God Wants You to Win
John 3:16
You must know that God loves you and desires your victory. If you do not know this before the battle starts, you will likely lose the most important fights of your life. His love is the foundation of the fight.
